Adoption

For a project like XRP, which was developed with a clear use case and for a certain group of users, adoption is key to its relevance.

Active users of the On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) solution include Bitstamp and Bitso, which use it for cross-border transfers. However, another use case for XRPL might emerge very soon: Ripple is working on an XRPL-native stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD).

In a Q2 2024 report, Ripple revealed a new addition to the roster of partners integrating XRPL, digital asset manager Archax. Although the on-chain activity reduced significantly in comparison to the previous quarter, the average value of a transaction increased.
