ChangeHero User Dashboard: How to Use It and Why

Big surprise: for the first time in nine years, ChangeHero rolls out dashboards for all users. If—and only if—you would like to register an account, you can get even more out of the crypto swapping experience. How exactly and whether it changes how the service works is what this article is going to explain.
What About “No Sign-Ups?”
Let’s spell out the most important thing right away: ChangeHero remains a registration-free instant exchange platform. A user account is entirely optional; you do not need to register to start swapping, like it always used to be.
The purpose of these user accounts that we introduce is to give you access to extra features, including transaction history and pre-KYC later down the line.
Perks of ChangeHero User Dashboard
Normally, ChangeHero does not require a login for a reason: this is an extra step in the process that does not strictly need it, defeating the purpose of being ‘instant’ as opposed to any other centralized exchange and platform. So why do we add a dashboard and what does it provide to make it worth your while?

Users already registered in the ChangeHero Affiliate program might recognize some of the elements: total earnings, completed transaction count and commission rate. The reason for this is that the new dashboard is expected to serve both current and future ChangeHero affiliates and users registering for the new features.
Features for All Users
Even if you have no plans to earn rewards with our affiliate program, the dashboard can be of use to you. Transaction history, for instance, is a long-requested feature: when you use ChangeHero while logged in, your swaps will show up in the ‘Transaction history’ tab with all their details: ID, status, pairs and amounts. The header has shortcuts to help you initiate a buy, sell or swap without scrambling back to the home page after you open the dashboard.
For further convenience, there are search functionality, filters by status and time, and CSV exporting. We understand that financial information like this can be sensitive, not to mention all of the affiliate stuff, so authorization can be protected with 2-factor authentication.
In the initial release, 2FA can be enabled in the “Settings” menu after you have successfully logged in to your account. Future updates will make it obligatory to set up during registration.
Features for Affiliates and Partners
Keen readers might have picked up on the new dashboard replacing the current one. As explained in the guide linked before, the affiliate dashboard is quite a functional place: it’s where users get their program tools such as links and widgets, as well as track the performance and initiate withdrawals of earnings.
All of the above can be found in the ‘CryptoHero Club’ tab of the new version of the dashboard. Instead of being spread across a few tabs, everything is in one place now: stat summary, copyable links and widget embed code, and the full history of swaps made by users you referred to ChangeHero. The links in particular now have shortcuts to make sharing them on Telegram, X, Facebook and Reddit as quick as a couple of clicks.
The whole point of the program, though—the earnings—can be withdrawn from a dedicated tab. As soon as you accrue about as much as $60 (at the time of writing; program terms may change), you can initiate an outgoing transaction to a BTC address that needs to be specified in your account settings. This process involves all account protection measures: 2FA, email verification, and a pause of 24 hours after adding a new withdrawal address; it’s there to give you time to act in case your credentials were compromised. All those transactions are tracked in the history in this tab and likewise, can be filtered and exported.
What Next?
It does not take an expert to notice a few features that are not yet there: zero-fee swaps, widget customization, or the aforementioned pre-KYC. You would be right to assume that these will ship with subsequent updates.
Some partners may also notice that the API keys were not mentioned. Naturally, this does not mean that API integration goes anywhere; however, it is not going to be accessible by default to everyone signing up with ChangeHero.
In general, should users be concerned that this optional dashboard would become an obligatory signup in the future? You can rest assured that we remain committed to the original design of ChangeHero as an instant crypto exchange platform, and being registration-free is one of its core traits. The dashboard is there only for the convenience of users and will remain optional in the foreseeable future.
