You do not need to create an account or log in to exchange cryptocurrencies on ChangeHero. For fiat purchases, you can optionally create an account with the provider for verification purposes.

The conversion fees depend on the market conditions and available liquidity, but you can expect no more than a 0.5% fee with Best Rate and up to 0.7% in Fixed Rate.

ChangeHero offers two exchange rate options. With Float Rate, the final amount is calculated at the moment your transaction is processed, based on the best market rate available — this means you may benefit from favorable price movements. With Fixed Rate, the rate is locked for 15 minutes from the moment you create the transaction, protecting you from market volatility. Both options are designed to give you the most competitive rate for your crypto swap.

ChangeHero is a non-custodial service and does not hold user funds on their behalf. You retain full control over your private keys at all stages of the exchange process.

For crypto-to-crypto swaps, a small minimum amount may be required to cover blockchain network fees — you'll see a notification in the widget if your amount is too low. There is no hard limit on the maximum swap amount. For fiat purchases, the minimum amount is €25.

As long as you have a valid wallet address for the cryptocurrency you want to receive, you can use it with ChangeHero. The completion time depends on the networks, with Bitcoin being slower and Solana or BNB Chain faster. For reference, on average, transactions finish within 5 minutes.
