What is Celer Network (CELR)?
The Celer Network is building off-chain solutions for payment transactions and generalized smart contracts to increase throughput to billions of transactions per second scaling linearly. The CELR token was distributed through Binance's launchpad raising $4 million. Celer's state channels are enabled by Proof-of Liquidity Commitment, a virtual mining process in which users lock idle liquidity in CELR or other cryptocurrencies to the off-chain platform for a certain period and are rewarded with CELR.
